We are a family of 4 (including two kids) and we were given the "flat" as they call it, which is actually a 2 bedroom and living room flat. Very spacious, clean, bathroom fully renovated, lots of towels and toileties etc. Breakfast seemed limited initially, not the variety one would expect from a 3-star hotel but quality was great. Freshly cut individual fruit balls, freshly baked croissants and freshly cooked english breakfast individually ordered. Coffee and tea options could have been better. Staff was amazing, very helpful, kind and to the point. Congrats! We also dined in the hotel restaurant, tried the carvery in the evening and some starters. Extremely pleasant surprise, great food, freshly made, great quality, good value for money and we're taken care of staff upon expectation, great service. Great location too, 15' walk from city centre.

This is a real gem of a hotel in a great location with fantastic staff and facilities. Everyone was friendly, helpful, informative and demonstrated genuine care for their clientele, their comfort and enjoyment of their stay. The room was comfortable and had everything guests might need for a pleasant stay. The breakfast buffet offered both continental or full English breakfast or a combination of both. The English breakfast was freshly cooked to the guest's requirements - totally delicious! Lovely, comfy beds too. Everything worked!

We booked The Victoria Hotel for a small weekend treat. The location was a bit outside of the centre of the town, therefore, the access to nature was good instead, which we aimed for. We stretched our adventure to the seaside, Whitstable, and it was really convenient to get to from the bus stop nearby the hotel. In terms of the room we stayed, we were 2 of us and booked a twin room. Our room actually had 1 king bed and 1 extra small bed but that was okay as it was informed before booking. The beds were comfortable btw.

The location was very good: twenty minute walk to the city center; twenty-five to the Cathedral. The Victoria restaurant is excellent. We had dinner each night of our three night stay (good variety of vegetarian choices; best fish and chips and vegetarian lasagna- see pictures). The free parking in the back lot was very appreciated. Wifi was strong. Room was good size and very comfortable. Three floors; no elevator, we were on the third floor and staff helped with our luggage.

Howard

The reception staff are very attentive and always ready to help. Big shout out to the House Team, both the room and the communal areas were kept spotless. The rooms are just like any other hotel rooms but the beds are most comfy, excellent night's sleep The location is brilliant, just a 15 minute walk and your at the West Gate Tower with all the shops and of course the Cathedral, well worth the visit. Overall a great stay and would seriously consider staying here again.
